KellyADR was established in 2013 by Conor Kelly, who holds dual qualifications as an architect and as a barrister, after practising as an architect since 1980. While not a practising barrister, Conor’s legal training developed an interest and expertise in all matters legal, especially alternative dispute resolution (ADR) – ie resolution of disputes other than through the courts - initially in arbitration and leading to conciliation, mediation, med-arb, expert determination, expert evidence and laterally adjudication. This involvement in Arbitration, since 1991, has resulted in Conor holding the rare status of Chartered Arbitrator. Conor is included in the Minister's panel of Adjudicators under the Construction Contracts Act 2013.
KellyADR provides alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services to one or more parties to a dispute as an alternative to going to court. While such services are provided across all areas, the core business of KellyADR relates to conflict resolution arising in the construction industry and allied professions of architecture, engineering and surveying. The two principle categories of services are: as a neutral third party, and party retained services.
